Ephesians 4:31-3231 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
When I read that scripture, it is reading me. It is asking me am I bitter, am I full of rage, anger, not at peace? Am I speaking evil, am I malicious. Am I kind, am I tender hearted? Am I walking in forgiveness?
That’s just two verses out of the Word of God!
There is an invitation implicit there – an invitation simply to say “Holy Spirit, show me the heart attitudes I am carrying that are not of you so that I can repent of them and remove the hindrances that stand in the way of what you want to do in me.”
