Our History

John and Kerry Hemans

Kingdom Reign Ministries started out as Unchained Ministries in 2003, and we are a Christian ministry organisation releasing the saving, delivering, healing and restoring power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are based in Sydney, Australia. We seek to impact the world by going out to where those in need of the gospel are – on the streets of our cities, in the parks, and in the prisons.
We seek to serve the Body of Christ by equipping believers with the Word of God, writing, recording and leading anointed worship music, and ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit – in church services, conferences and by providing ministry resources from our web site.

Our leaders…

God called John as an evangelist just a few weeks after he gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1996.
John began serving in worship teams a few months later, giving his testimony and performing outreach concerts in prisons starting in 1997.
John founded our ministry out of a burning desire to take the gospel to areas of our communities that the church doesn’t usually reach.

He ministers powerfully in preaching the Word of God, and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit ministers in the prophetic word, words of knowledge, and healing and miracles.
John and his wife Kerry lead Kingdom Reign Ministries, with a Committee providing oversight and accountability. John is an ordained minister with the Church of the Foursquare Gospel (Australia).
John’s personal testimony is one of powerful deliverance from addiction and a life broken by sin.

John’s wife Kerry has a powerful prophetic ministry, ministering at both the corporate level and in individual prophecy.

The main ministry arms of Kingdom Reign Ministries are Healing Reign (a non-denominational Christian outreach ministry staging outreach events in suburban parks), Prison Ministry (chapel services and prison outreach concerts), Worship music CD’s, books and the preaching of the Word of God.
